I don’t draw hard lines between design, engineering and product. They’re different ways of looking at the same problem.","Lately that includes regulated work: onboarding, compliance and fund reporting, where the rules shape the product as much as the users do.","I like small teams, ambitious projects, good engineering and people who can disagree without making it tedious. I still enjoy opening an empty repository and figuring something out.","I work internationally. Outside work I train Muay Thai and like [chess](\u002Fexperiments\u002Fchess960), which I played competitively in Zwolle and taught to primary-school children there. It needed a place where anyone could share an idea, a plan or a project, and others could support it, join it or make it better.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch2 data-no=\"02 \u002F 03\">What I did\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\u003Cp>I was responsible for the front end and the UI\u002FUX design: from 2014 the search and filters, the map, creating an initiative and its detail pages, first in Angular 1, jQuery and Bootstrap. Later I led its migration to Angular 6, and in 2018 worked on its accessibility.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Ch2 data-no=\"03 \u002F 03\">Outcome\u003C\u002Fh2>\n\u003Cp>JIJ & Overijssel won the Galjaardprijs 2016, Logeion’s award for the best project in government communication, chosen from 30 nominations.\u003C\u002Fp>\n",1790317461138]
