As part of Novaware’s development team, I contributed to building a survey widget for Volandis, a Microsoft partner focused on health and safety in the Dutch construction industry.
Project Overview
Volandis provides workplace health and safety services to construction companies. As part of their digital platform, they needed an interactive survey widget for employee health assessments.
My Contribution: Working within Novaware’s team, I helped develop the survey widget component using:
- TypeScript: Type-safe development for the widget logic
- Web Components: Reusable, embeddable survey interface
- Umbraco CMS: Integration with the existing content management system
- C#: Backend integration for survey data processing
Technical Implementation
The survey widget was designed to be embedded within Volandis’s existing platform, allowing construction workers to complete health and safety assessments directly through their web portal.
Key Features:
- Interactive form components for health assessments
- Real-time validation for survey responses
- Mobile-responsive design for field worker accessibility
- Integration with Volandis’s Microsoft-based infrastructure
Learning Experience
