Earlier work across design, web and software
Websites, client platforms, wallets and open-source tools from before and alongside Agio Digital
What I did
Before Agio Digital, and for a while alongside it, I worked as a designer and developer, first at Boerdam and Team Foster, then independently.
- Web designer and frontend developer at Boerdam and Team Foster, 2008–2018.
- Freelance frontend developer with Novaware, 2018–2022, for clients in government, finance and the non-profit sector.
- Independent full-stack developer under chriswijnia.com, 2018–2022, for startups and digital agencies, with clients including Morgan Black and Team Foster.
- Application developer in the FreeTON (now Everscale) ecosystem, 2019–2021, building an open-source crypto wallet.
What we built
- MVRDV. One platform for the Rotterdam architecture firm’s website, intranet, pressroom and project archive, built with Team Foster. Read the case study.
- 1GRAM. A multi-chain web wallet for Everscale that won Everscale’s best web wallet contest and was released under the MIT licence. Read the case study.
- Volandis. With Novaware’s team, a survey widget for Volandis, which provides health and safety services to the Dutch construction industry: TypeScript web components embedded in an Umbraco site, with a C# backend for the survey data.
- Open source. Small public tools and libraries on GitHub, among them MagicMenu, a responsive off-canvas menu, and a WYSIWYG editor for content writers (2014); sass-initials-avatar (2015); kickoffcss, a simple CSS framework (2017); 1btc-sdk (2020); keytools and encryptanything (2021); and pinia-logger, a logger for Pinia (2022).
